Genna L. Robinson, MAOM, Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM)®, L.Ac., DCCM®, is a highly skilled and compassionate acupuncturist with over 7 years of experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), specializing in difficult-to-treat disorders that are chronic, complex, and resistant to conventional treatments. These include:

Genna holds a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts, where she completed extensive training in herbal medicine and integrative therapies. Genna is also the only practitioner in Cincinnati to hold a Diplomate in Canonical Chinese Medicine (DCCM)®, reflecting advanced training in Chinese medicine far beyond that of most practitioners.

Genna's approach to treatment is holistic, focusing not only on alleviating symptoms but also on addressing the root causes of health issues. She offers personalized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

  • One of only seventy practitioners in the US, one of only fifteen in the entire Midwest, and the ONLY practitioner in Cincinnati with a Diplomat of Canonical Chinese Medicine (DCCM)®, an advanced certification as taught through the Tian-Zeng Lineage® that reflects a deeper knowledge of Chinese medicine--especially herbal medicine--that few practitioners possess.

  • Over 3,200 hours graduate and postgraduate education and training.

​

  • Trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM) and Daoist Medicine (DM) under teachers Master Jeffrey C. Yuen, Andrew Nugent-Head, Arnaud Versluys, Suzanne Robidoux, Mazin Al-Khafaji and Ivan Zavala.

  • Completed four academic years of education at the Master’s Degree level in an Oriental Medicine Program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, North Carolina.​

  • Demonstrated professional competency by passing NCCAOM® Certification Examinations in Foundations of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture with Point Location, Chinese Herbology, and Biomedicine.

  • Maintains the NCCAOM® Certification by re-certifying every four (4) years.

​

  • Abides by the NCCAOM® Code of Ethics.​

At Spirit House Medicine, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their financial situation. Through our Wellness Access Program (WAP), we are committed to providing compassionate care to all members of our community and do not refuse treatment due to financial hardship.

WAP Policy Overview:

  • Sliding Scale Fees: We offer a sliding scale payment option for those facing financial difficulties. This allows you to receive the care you need at a rate that fits your current financial situation.

  • Payment Plans: For individuals requiring ongoing treatments, we provide flexible payment plans to help spread the cost over a period of time. Our goal is to make treatments accessible without causing financial strain.

  • Super Bills for Insurance Reimbursement: While we do not process insurance in-house, we provide super bills for our patients. You can submit these to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement based on your plan’s coverage.
